This is basically the story of how we left everything we knew to move to this beautiful valley located between Fishlake, Boulder Mountain, Thousand Lake Mountain, and Capitol Reef National Park. We completely uprooted our family and changed our lifestyle (think Green Acres!). It's not been without it's challenges, but it was the best decision we ever made.
I'm sure all of our close friends thought my husband made me move out to the middle of nowhere (not a fast food restaurant in sight and no shopping, what?!), no I was ready. Ready to simplify life. Trips to the city are great, but I'm always eager to get back to peaceful Wayne County.
